American Politics
Health Policy
Public Opinion
Welcome!
I'm Robert, a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics at the University of Virginia. I study how political polarization shapes health attitudes, scientific distrust, and public opinion toward health policy in the United States.
My research sits at the intersection of the politics of health and public opinion in the US - examining how widening social and partisan divides reshape the relationship between citizens, scientific institutions, and health policy.
My work has appeared in Research & Politics and Preventive Medicine Reports, with additional projects currently under review.
I am also an Adjunct Professor of Health Studies at the University of Richmond, where I teach a course on Health Systems and Policy.
